These seats shall be treated as “Payment Seats” only, as
per the approval of Government of Andhra Pradesh and the
amount of tuition fee to be paid by each candidate is
Rs.16,500/- per Semester in addition to all other fees
as payable to other courses.
Fifteen per cent of the seats (34) are earmarked for
ICAR Quota over and above 210 seats, for the students
from other states. |

| Eligibility |
|
|
Candidates who possess the following qualifications are
eligible to seek admission.
|
|
|
A pass in two year Intermediate Examination conducted by
the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or
any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto
by the University or Intermediate Board with any two of
the following subjects. |

Physical
Sciences |

Biological
or Natural Sciences |

Agricultural
Sciences |

Vocational
Courses in Agriculture |

| Criteria
for selection |

| a |
The seats under ICAR quota are filled by ICAR, based on
the performance in the written examination and the
choice of the students. |
|
| b |
The selection of candidates for all the seats, except
those reserved for I.C.A.R Quota and in-service
candidates shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained
by the candidates in the EAMCET in their respective
local areas from out of the inter-se merit lists
prepared for this purpose. The candidates will be
selected based on merit, Presidential order, region and
social status. |

In case of a tie in ranks obtained by two or more
candidates in the EAMCET, the age shall be taken into
consideration and the older candidate shall be given the
seat. In case of tie both in the ranks and age, the
marks secured in the optional subjects of the Qualifying
examination shall be taken into consideration. |
